In collaboration with our partners, ONE FINE DAY FILMS offered until 2020 aspiring filmmakers the opportunity to participate in our Masterclasses. The first module deepened and expanded the skill set and cinematic language of African filmmakers who were already practicing in the field. It widened their cinematic perspectives, exposure, and vocabulary. Filmmakers from all over Africa were invited to enhance their skills in areas such as directing, scriptwriting, production, cinematography, editing, sound, production design, and more, under the mentorship of experienced film professionals. The training was tailored to the individual requirements of African filmmakers and aimed at professionalizing the craft of filmmaking.

The second module provided on-the-job training for the realization of a feature film, allowing the participants to put their filmmaking skills into practice.

One Fine Day Films also served as a partner organization of the IFFR Rotterdam Lab, which enabled one African filmmaker to travel to Rotterdam, Netherlands, and participate in a Production Training Workshop alongside other professionals from around the world.
